May 29 - 30, 2020
Northern Minnesota

Registration is required for this event.

Participants gather in the evening of Friday, May 29 at the Ward Wells Field House on the campus of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Anglers take to the water on Island Lake Reservoir Saturday morning, in one of four flights drawn the previous evening. Anglers fish for walleye (6 maximum) or bass (5 maximum) or both!

Proceeds from the Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament benefit individuals living with ALS and their families in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Superior, WI. ALS is a progressive neuro-degenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS usually strikes people between the ages of 40 - 70, but it can strike anyone at any time. Although there is no cure or treatment yet, advances in scientific research have made significant progress in understanding what causes ALS. Their work is not yet done. We are united in our quest to end ALS.
