Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament
We are grateful for your continued support in the fight against ALS. With all the uncertainty surrounding the COVID - 19 pandemic,
we had to make some adjustments to our event to keep our anglers, volunteers and spectators all safe. Our goal was to provide a
safe way for our participants drop lines in the water while raising money for individuals living with ALS.
This year's 25th Annual Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament looked different, but our goals remained the same.
We are dedicated to continuing to help individuals with ALS and we know their needs are not put on hold due to the current pandemic.
Thanks to the 200 anglers who participated. A huge thanks to all our sponsors helping us along the way. We appreciate all our auction bidders, too.
With your support and generosity, we were able to raise more than $169,000!
Watch our LIVE STREAMED AWARDS PROGRAM from Saturday evening, May 30th.
Thank you for helping in the fight against ALS.
Stay tuned, stay safe and Never Surrender!
Registration is required for this event.
Participants take to waters near their home on Saturday morning, May 30, 2020. Anglers fish for walleye, bass, northern or crappie. We'll recognize anglers catching the single largest fish in each species. There will be a random drawing of prizes donated by Marine General for anglers posting photos of their fish using the FishDonkey mobile app designated for this event.
Proceeds from the Kolar Toyota ALS Fishing Tournament benefit individuals living with ALS and their families. ALS is a progressive neuro-degenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS usually strikes people between the ages of 40 - 70, but it can strike anyone at any time. Although there is no cure or treatment yet, advances in scientific research have made significant progress in understanding what causes ALS. Their work is not yet done. We are united in our quest to end ALS.
