Welcome to the Personal Page of Betty Fleissner/Team Kelly
Please Support Me...
I will be participating in the Black Woods Blizzard Tour. This is a 3-day snowmobile event designed to raise funds to support those with ALS in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and parts of Wisconsin. I need your help to reach my personal fundraising goal. This is a great time for us to work together to support those living with ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure....
Please consider sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
Why I Am Riding....my husband Kelly was diagnosed with ALS in the fall of 2016 and his courageous journey ended December 3, 2018 (slightly over 2 yrs)...as he lost the ability to speak, swallow and finally move on his own, our ALS chapter was there to give Kelly the equipment and support needed to allow him to continue his journey with grace and dignity....all that you see listed below was something Kelly utilized or to allow me a bit of respite from the increasing care as his independence was slowly taken away by this horrible disease. Our family has met many dedicated people affiliated with our ALS Chapter and the Blizzard Tour.... and now, with your help, it is my time to give back....
People with ALS need our help more than ever. Insurance often does not cover durable medical equipment. Never Surrender Inc helps to fund a loan pool that allows people to use equipment at no charge. Your donation will also help to pay for a skilled home care worker to care for the person with ALS while their caregiver gets a well deserved break called respite care. People with ALS may need help speaking or controlling a TV, radio or light. Funds from the Black Wood Blizzard Tour provide funding for augmentative communication devices that speak for those in need and help control the television, radio, lights and more.

“Never Surrender” and “Thank You” for your kind generosity
