For the third year, on September 18th I will be biking 60 miles in Never Surrender’s Tomassoni Tour -  Cycle for ALS.  The Tour represents an effort to raise funds for those affected by ALS, as well as helping to fund research in this disease which has no cure.  All funds stay local.  In Duluth, Essentia Health, in coordination with  Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Minnesota is involved with the Healey Trials designed to evaluate multiple ALS treatments simultaneously.  I am proud to say my pharmacist daughter is part of the team that is involved in these trials.  Your donation will greatly contribute to this effort.  However, we are still a ways away from reaching the goal of a cure.
