Why I'm Riding

In February 2026, I will be participating in the Black Woods Blizzard Tour - a 3-day snowmobile event in northern Minnesota designed specifically to raise funds for individuals living with ALS.

This will be my first year riding in this event - but not my first year engaged in the ALS fight.

I'm riding to honor my wife Jen's father, Richard "Dick" Becker, who lost his life to ALS in 2006.

ALS changed the final chapter of his life - and continues to rewrite the futures of countless others.

Until we have a cure, I'm stepping further into this fight.

What is Never Surrender Inc?

Never Surrender Inc is a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people living with ALS today - while accelerating the research and innovation needed to end ALS tomorrow.

They do this by:

- expanding access to platform trials and innovative therapies

- supporting ALS families through durable medical equipment programs

- partnering with other ALS organizations to amplify impact

- raising critical funds through events like the Black Woods Blizzard Tour

They are hands-on. They are urgent. Their impact is local and global.
