Riding for a Cure: My Journey with the Black Woods Blizzard Tour

Please Support Me – Riding for a Cure
I will be participating in the 2026 Black Woods Blizzard Tour. A 3-day snowmobile event dedicated to raising critical funds for individuals living with ALS. This cause is close to my heart, and I’m excited to be part of an effort that brings together riders, families, and communities to spread awareness and push forward in the fight to find effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
From a young age, I’ve loved everything about snowmobiling; the freedom of the ride, the winter landscapes, and the bond between riders. Growing up, I watched my parents participate in the Blizzard Tour year after year. Their dedication and compassion set a powerful example for me, showing me how passion and purpose can go hand in hand. Now, I’m proud to follow in their tracks, riding not just for the thrill, but for something bigger.
Today, I ride as a newly graduated occupational therapist. While I haven’t yet worked directly with individuals with ALS, I’ve gained a deep understanding through my education of how devastating and life-altering this disease can be. ALS progressively impacts a person’s ability to move, speak, and perform daily tasks. Things many of us take for granted. My training has helped me appreciate just how vital support, advocacy, and ongoing research are for those facing this diagnosis.
Why I Am Riding…
People living with ALS need our help more than ever. That’s why I’ve joined this ride, to support the incredible work of Never Surrender Inc., which funds both life-enhancing services through ALS nonprofit organizations and vital global research efforts. This is a great time for us to come together and make a lasting impact.
Please consider sponsoring me. With your support, we can make a real difference in the lives of people affected by ALS.
