Hello friends,

We are Full Throttle fighting ALS this week.  I am humbled by the generosity of everyone who has made donations and bought raffle tickets.  Collectively our small family group has raised just over $15,000. We will keep fighting to help those impacted by this disease. 

Our family continues to battle this disease and just recently a friend’s mother has been diagnosed with this disease.  It is a devastating disease, but we are slowly making progress to help those affected. I am thankful that no one in the family is currently dealing with physical symptoms; unfortunately, we know that will likely change at some point in the future. 

 ALS gained awareness a few years ago with events like the Ice Bucket Challenge.  Money raised at that time helped fund research to better understand the disease and has produced some promising treatments to help slow, not cure, the disease.  

My family has dedicated our focus to the eradication of ALS.  We participate in research and many fundraisers throughout the year.  Our biggest fundraiser is the snowmobile ride.  This year we have recruited family from Missouri to join us and we have some new riders attending as well. Watch this 30 second video to learn more.
