Welcome to Ike's 2024 ALS Fundraiser

Please Support Me...
2024 marks the 12th year my son Steve and I have participated in the in the Black Woods Blizzard Tour. This is a 3-day snowmobile event designed to raise funds to support those with ALS in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and parts of Wisconsin. I need your help to reach my personal fundraising goal. This is a great time for you and me to work together to support those living with Lou Gehrig's Disease and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. Watch this 30 second video to learn more!
My father-in-law, Larry Kessler was diagnosed with ALS just a short time before he was to retire. Our family watched the progression of this horrible disease up close and very personal. This terrible time was made better because the ALS Association helped Larry and his family with loaned equipment and volunteers who helped Larry and the family out. That is why my son and I ride, we know how important these donated dollars are.
Why We Need Your Help...
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal, neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and eventually breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
