Hello Friends,

This fall is the 3rd year of the Tomassoni Tour – Cycle for ALS. My family and I will be participating again with some of us riding and some of us volunteering.  This year we have created “Team Lauer” in an effort to raise more money to fight this horrible disease while cycling on the Mesabi Trail in Northern Minnesota.

The ride is put on and organized by Never Surrender Inc., a non-profit corporation whose goal is to raise funds for those who are living with ALS - ultimately they hope to find a cure.

Never Surrender has allowed me to participate in an expanded access drug program which gave me access to clinical trial drugs not yet approved by the FDA. EAP has given me HOPE - as there are only a couple of drugs approved to treat ALS.

In addition to EAP, Never Surrender has funded clinical trials in Duluth and the Twin Cities for ALS patients.  They also provide durable medical equipment and other items needed by patients.

I ask you to consider donating as it will help those of us living with ALS to survive for a bit longer. To those of you that cycle, I ask that you consider joining the ride and Team Lauer. The Tomassoni Tour is a first-class red-carpet event.  You will not be disappointed!
