Welcome to the Personal Page of Chad Bannor
Please support me in our fight towards a cure for ALS or commonly know as "Lou Gehrig's Disease".
I will be participating in the Black Woods Blizzard Tour. This is a 3-day snowmobile event designed to raise funds to support individuals living with ALS. I need your help to reach my personal fundraising goal. This is a great time for us to work together to support those living with ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Please consider sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease.
Why I Am Riding...
Since 1999 we have been determined to raise funds towards a cure for ALS. In 1999, Randy Bannor, Larry Bannor, Greg Sorenson, and Dennis Nelson received pledges to fight ALS and rode snowmobiles around Lake Superior to raise money as they had all been recently influenced by close friends and family living with this horrible disease. This combined effort from the original four, was called the ALS Circle Tour. With the trip lasting 10 days and just over 2,000 miles behind them, they managed to raise close to $15,000 towards ALS. Having my dad (Randy) and grandpa (Larry) be a major part in the start of this mission, I feel it is my duty as a third generation snowmobiler, and Black Woods Blizzard Tour Rider, to raise money and continue to do so until we find a cure.
Today we have the Black Woods Blizzard Tour which has become what it is by the efforts of many as we still continue to march towards a cure for ALS. Our motto is "Never Surrender" which was passed along from fellow rider Wes Blakeslee back in 1999 when he himself was diagnosed with ALS. Since then, Wes has passed, but today we continue to "Never Surrender" in our collective fight against ALS and remember Wes and many others along the way.
Help make a difference and donate today. Click the Donate key and help me help others. Any donation toward the cure of ALS is much appreciated. Thank You!
